Ex-Giants QB retires, joins NBC Sports Big Ten football coverage

Former New York |A| Giants quarterback Colt McCoy |B| has been hired by |C| NBC Sports as an |D| analyst on their broadcasts |E| of Big Ten football |F| this season.

The news |G| comes at the same |H| time McCoy officially announces |J| his retirement from football.

|K| dir="ltr">McCoy, who played for |L| the Giants in 2020, |M| began his NFL career |O| with the Cleveland Browns |P| in 2010 after a |Q| legendary college career at |R| Texas. He also played |S| for the San Francisco |U| 49ers, Washington Redskins, and |V| Arizona Cardinals, mainly as |Y| a backup, over his |Z| 13-year pro career.

The |A| 37-year-old McCoy last played |B| in the NFL in |C| 2022, for Arizona, and |D| has not ruled out |E| a comeback but for |F| now, hell be a |G| member of the media.

The irony here |Q| is, of course, that |R| McCoy has no connection |S| to the Big Ten |U| conference. He played at |V| Texas, which is joining |Y| the SEC after decades |Z| in the Big 12 |A| conference.

McCoy played in |B| four games for the |C| Giants in 2020, starting |D| two. He was 1-1 |E| as a starter.
